Its causes are varied, ranging benign condition topotentially fatal diseases. Many causes requires that the medicalstudent and general practitioner aprehend the semiologicalcharacteristics of each, the skill of the physician in interpreting theclinical manifestations is central to the approach of the patient.The Adequate medical history and complete physical examinationare valuable tools that should be directed to determine the causalpathology and appropriate management. This article is anupdated review of potentially fatal causes must be ruled out inall patients presenting with chest pain to the emergency room.
