%X Karatherapy*(2) is a medical discipline of rehabilitation whichconsist in the application of movements and positions taken from thekarate movements, positions taken from the karate kata, and anyrespiratory dynamics and states of consciousness for use in health.Comprehensive Rehabilitation method, following the introduction oftherapeutic programs the World Health Organization supported thetraining of professionals which the creator was forming, whoseapplications include all those situations, pathological or not, in which thepatient requires an improvement in his life's quality and an integration insocial, recreational and occupational activities in the best possibleconditions. The development of this discipline is based on the study ofmovement, from the standpoint of mechanical and biochemical hormoneto test their effects on health. Subsequently, dynamic sequences werestructured, whose utility was tested in different patient groups. Seventeenyears were spent for the full consolidation of this work. Their applicationsin rehabilitation cover varied pathologies'. There are specific programsfor HIV patients and immunosuppressed in general.
