Usually child first time feel the pain in oral cavity because of Teething. Even though it is physiological dynamic phenomenon last for period of time, it is associated with some sort of discomfort & some clinical manifestations. Most children get their first tooth around 4-8 months of age. Teething has long been regarded as an unpleasant experience for infants and their parents. ˇ°Teething, like colic, is an ill-defined non-evidence-based entity for which parents receive much advice.ˇ±Many parents, child care takers and health professionals still believe that teething signs and symptoms and in particular, teething pain, should be managed. The purpose of this review is to highlight what actually teething is?
