%X This article is a description of the journey undertaken by a team of researchers in order to adapt and apply the scientific method to software engineering to develop products in an industrial environment. As a result created a own method based on continuous experience, and ultimately structured the Experience Factory organization which will continue experimenting and working to improve the quality and reliability of software products.
