%X A pesar de los avances en la detecci車n y prevenci車n del c芍ncer de cuello uterino, 谷ste contin迆a siendo una gran amenaza para la salud de las mujeres a nivel mundial. Una correcta evaluaci車n de los factores pron車sticos es crucial para la elecci車n y planificaci車n de un tratamiento adecuado. La estadificaci車n del c芍ncer de cuello uterino ha sufrido modificaciones en la 7∼ edici車n del TNM, reflejando la nueva clasificaci車n adoptada por la Federaci車n Internacional de Ginecolog赤a y Obstetricia (FIGO). En este art赤culo presentamos el sistema actualizado y unificado de estadificaci車n para c芍ncer de cuello uterino. Despite advances in screening and prevention, cervical cancer remains a major threat to women's health worldwide. A correct evaluation of prognostic factors is crucial for choosing and planning the most appropriate treatment. Cervical cancer staging has undergone modifications in the 7th edition of TNM, reflecting the new classification adopted by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO). In this paper we present the updated and consolidated system of cervical cancer staging.
