The author ofthe article studied singing with Carmen Luisa Letelier-Vald¨¦s at the Faculty ofArts ofthe University ofChile. On the basis ofhis direct contact with the artist the author presents a personal view ofthe vocal quality of the artist as well as her contribution to the development ofChilean musical activity and her work as teacher of important Chilean singers.
