%0 Journal Article %T Exploration of the needs felt by families of young people who have made a first attempt of suicide %A Yolanda Parra Parra %J NURE Investigaci¨®n %D 2013 %I Foundation for Nursery Development, (FUDEN) %X Introduction: Suicide is considered the leading cause of unnatural death in Spain, with an alarming increase in suicides among young people aged 15 to 25 years.It is often accompanied by guilt, hostility, and stigmatization in the environment of the patient; constituting a source of family distress by the latent threat of the loss of who seeks it, which requires care by health professionals.However, little knowledge of the needs and perceptions of these families hinder such care really fits your requirements.General Objective: Explore what are the needs felt by the families of young patients who have had their first attempt at autolytic. Collection and analysis of data: It is based on the principles and qualitative methodology, through focus groups with families of first and second degree of young patients (18-25 years) who have had a first attempt at autolytic, specifying hospital admission.There will be three discussion groups by combining different types and situations; looking for greater representativeness.The method used to analyze the data will be an analysis of the content, not just confining to the interpretation of the manifest content but also applied to the social context. %K Suicide Attempted %K young adult %K needs assessment %K family health. %U http://www.fuden.es/proyectos_detalle.cfm?ID_INV_NURE=109&ID_INV_NURE_INI=1
