Clarified orange juice (11.5o Brix) obtained from fresh fruits was subjected to membrane distillation. The experiments were performed on a flat sheet module using orange juice as feeds. The concentration was carried out in a direct contact membrane distillation using hydrophobic PTFE membrane of pore size 0.2 ¦Ìm and porosity 70%.
