The structures of all the newly synthesized metal complexes were confirmed by IR, ESI mass, UV-visible, TG analysis, magnetic susceptibility and elemental analysis. The stability constants of metal complexes have been determined through Calvin-Bjerrum pH titration technique adopted by Irvin and Rossotti[1]. The dissociation constants of ligands and the stability constants of metal-ligand complexes were calculated using the above method and it was found that the values obtained closely agreed with each other. The calculation of stability constants evaluated from the graphs shows that the complexes are of ML2 type and have more basic characteristics than those of corresponding ligands. %K Monodentate 1H-benzo[d]imidazole ligands %K Transition metal complexes %K Physicochemical studies %K Calvin-Bjerrum pH titration method %K Stability constants. %U http://www.ijcsr.co.in/Documents/Volumes/Vol%202%20issue%202/ijcsr201202v2i2(2a).pdf
