Cornelius Castoriadis (1922-1997) is a thinker who combines a strong philosophical and sociological education, and proposes, among other tasks, rethinking ontological and epistemological sources of political theory. This is something Castoriadis often repeated: that his elucidation is inseparable from a political aim and a political project. For Castoriadis, to rethink history and temporality in the field of praxis is a task that we must do, with no doubt, since the inherited logic -that contains the past 25 centuries of Greco-Western thinking- conceives of and posits the being as being-determined and, in this position, tends to mask the poietic character of every human institution. %K social-historical domain %K mode of being %K history %K temporality %K elucidation %K Castoriadis %U http://www.observacionesfilosoficas.net/teoriayaccionpolitica.html
