%X My purpose in this paper is to examine the Giorgio Agamben¡¯s sentence, in the work The open, in according to which the politics in the West is co-originally biopolitic. In the analysis of this hypothesis, I make use of the Hannah Arendt and Michel Foucault¡¯s works, commented by Agamben, aiming to indicate how much they keep distance of this Agamben¡¯s position, despite of the proximity among them.
