%X It seems there was once a Chinese curse, which also came to the West, and is repeated from time to time by Western speakers. It read: "May you be allowed to live in interesting times." This curse has accomplished for us quite dramatic. In informational terms, we are doubly cursed. Two overwhelming reasons of interest have been hovering over the landscape theme of last year. The emergence of these issues has clarified adamantly interesting, or at least reminded us again that modern societies, in its aggregation state media are first markets, stock issues, which are broadcast news , news that are traded daily in cash transactions. It belongs to the essence of the news item in which each service is treated only to the corresponding emergence of extremely topical issue below. In any case it can be studied better than in the two major themes of this year: first, the topic of biotechnology, which has taken away my breath for most of 2001, at least until they make their appearance on another topical issue, which is summarized in a simplistic way under the term "terrorism", a term that we have given the misleading after addition of "War ..."
