%0 Journal Article %T Neoliberalismo y Biopol¨ªtica: onto-tecnolog¨ªa de la autorregulaci¨®n o ¡°la producci¨®n de s¨ª¡± en Michel Foucault %A Santiago Patarroyo Rengifo %J Revista Observaciones Filos¨®ficas %D 2012 %I Pontificia Universidad C¨¢tolica de Valpara¨ªso %X This article investigates the transition from classical liberalism to what is commonly called "neoliberalism" perspective developed by Michel Foucault in the years 1977-1979, whose investigations are crystallized in the last two seminars published in France in October 2004 [The Birth of Biopolitics]. It asks for the dimensions that Foucault built to analyze the transition from one concept to another from primarily an epistemological mutation: the transformation of the notion of wage income and material foundation of human capital theory and the construction of the notion of "self-entrepreneur". Also contradict a reading classic neoliberal phenomenon and a genealogical reading.
