%X The freedom is fundamental to the human existence independently that this is conscious or not it, thus it is considered as a value and inherent rights of each person, but to what extent have the freedom that we have? Is there a difference between the voluntary and free? The following essay attempts to answer these questions from Schopenhauer's worldview, noting the origin of the illusion of free will, as opposed to the idea of  absolute freedom and will not transitive given on the metaphysical plane.This refers to a thought necessarily pessimistic and deterministic based on own pain and suffering of human existence corresponding to the metaphysical sustenance ethical, aesthetic and epistemological philosophy in relation to what Schopenhauer means will to live.
