This directmeasurement approach however lacks the ability to extract more information fromother points in the data. In this paper, we introduce a 3-point pseudo-scaledistance measure based on Kendall¡¯s tertiary treatment of ties (TTT). Thisdistance is coupled with ANOVA-Tukey¡¯s test approach to reveal the hiddenstructure where the Euclidean distance used in multidimensional scaling techniqueis not able to cater. To demonstrate the proposed technique, a set of rainfall datarecorded between the years 1968 and 2003 over nine rain-gauge stations inPeninsular Malaysia are used. %K Euclidean-distance %K Pseudo-distance %K Multidimensional Scaling %K ANOVA-Tukey %U http://www.m-hikari.com/ams/ams-2013/ams-25-28-2013/ahmadAMS25-28-2013.pdf
