Legible results are obtained within a range of 120 to 180 compression, compared to other methods are obtained high compression ratio; as JPEG. The Quadtree-based fractal compression is a method to change the range block Ri to the domain of a block Di, based on the ratio of allowable error ŠĆ, to choose reasonable conversion ratio and reduce the search time information. To measure the quality of image compression there are several objective techniques such as Maximum Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index (SSIM). The PSNR is a metric that measures the level of noise that gets a signal when compared with another, this metric unit is the decibel (dB) %K Quadtree algorithm %K Fractal %K Compression %K Text %U http://ijcer.org/index.php/ojs/article/view/102
