The corpus of our analysis includes three of the most popular films to date: Twilight, Vampire Diaries and True Blood. The aim of our study is to compare and contrast the vampire protagonists these three films instantiate and also to identify any major shifts from the ¡®classic¡¯ conceptualisation of the vampire. Furthermore, we will try to understand how these transformations could account for the popularity of the vampire figure in general and among teenagers in particular. %K vampire %K angelisation %K popular culture %K Twilight %K Vampire Diaries %K True Blood. %U http://oceanide.netne.net/articulos/art4-10.pdf
