The interaction between the two arts has offered endless results. In fact, through this partnership for instance, we can speak about several musical forms such as the Lieder (sung poems with piano accompaniment) which was of so much use throughout the Romantic period; the Opera and its evolution enriched with its various stages, forms and composers; the Zarzuela which emerged in Spain as a variant of the Opera; we cannot forget about the Ballet, Theater and so on.
