Fake notes in India in denominationsof Rs.100, 500 and 1000 are being flooded into the system. Inorder to deal with such type of problems, an automated recognitionof currency notes in introduced by with the help of featureextraction, classification based in SVM, Neural Nets, and heuristicapproach. This technique is also subjected with the computervision where all processing with the image is done by machine. The machine is fitted with a CDD camera which will scan theimage of the currency note considering the dimensions of thebanknote and software will process the image segments with thehelp of SVM and character recognition methods. ANN is alsointroduced in this paper to train the data and classify the segmentsusing its datasets. To implement this design we are dealing withMATLAB Tool. %K Heuristic Analysis %K Character Recognition %U http://www.ijcsms.com/journals/Volume%2012,%20Issue%2002,%20April%202012_Paper_id_8.pdf
