%X En 2019 y 2020 se espera que Colombia y buena parte de los pa赤ses de Am谷rica Latina hagan definitivamente el tr芍nsito a la televisi車n digital. Las posibilidades tecnol車gicas de la televisi車n digital, hacen pensar en mayores oportunidades de interacci車n y de participaci車n en la producci車n de contenidos, de informaci車n y de conocimiento. Sin embargo,  qu谷 tan preparada est芍 la poblaci車n para hacer frente a estas alternativas de innovaci車n socio - tecnol車gica?  Ser芍 posible hablar de una verdadera Televisi車n Interactiva en nuestro medio?  Hay condiciones que hagan posible pensar en procesos educativos a partir de la plataforma que podr赤a ofrecer la iTV? Este art赤culo propone una mirada a las condiciones sociales actuales con miras al cambio digital desde la participaci車n y la educaci車n. In 2019 and 2020 is expected to Colombia and most of Latin American countries will definitely make the transition to digital television. The technological possibilities of digital television, suggest greater opportunities for interaction and participation in content production, information and knowledge. However, how the population is prepared to address these alternatives socio technological innovation? Is it possible to speak of a true interactive TV in our midst? Are there conditions that make it possible to think of educational processes from the platform that could provide the iTV? This article offers a view at current social conditions in view of the digital shift from participation and education.
