%X En un libro cuyo t¨ªtulo es Miradas sobre Espa a, treinta intervenciones tratan de responder a una vieja demanda, a una pregunta que ha ido atravesando, desde finales del siglo XIX [y de manera recurrente], el espacio intelectual espa ol:  qu¨¦ es Espa a, qu¨¦ fue durante el siglo XX y en las centurias anteriores?,  desde cu¨¢ndo existe Espa a?,  qu¨¦ Espa a? Los treinta textos aqu¨ª convocados tratan de facilitar unos muy valiosos materiales ante tales interrogantes. Sin embargo, un hilo com¨²n parece promover la necesidad de seguir formul¨¢ndose de nuevo las mismas preguntas In a book entitled Miradas sobre Espa a, thirty interventions seek to answer to an old query, to a question that has been crossing the Spanish intellectual space from end of the 19th century [and in recurrent way]: What is Spain, what was it in the 20th century, and in previous centuries?; Since when does Spain exist?; Which Spain? The thirty texts called for here try to make available very valuable materials on such questions. Nevertheless, a common thread seems to promote the necessity to keep making the same questions again
