%X Through the examination of certain areas in the work of Walter Benjamin and Georges Didi-Huberman, this paper aims to contribute to the discussi車n on the contemporary ways of working-through the traumatic memory of the twentieth century in literature, specially focusing the state of the art in this field in Spain. Given this framework, the discussi車n shall be centered on the concepts of 'medium' (the role of media in the twenty-first century, so as memory as medium and means) and montage A partir de un examen detenido de ciertas zonas de la obra de Walter Benjamin y Georges Didi-Huberman, se propone aqu赤 un aporte a la discusi車n en torno a la elaboraci車n (sobre todo en la literatura) de la memoria traum芍tica del siglo XX en el presente, con especial atenci車n al estado de la cuesti車n en este 芍mbito en Espa a. En este marco, los ejes del debate se plantean en torno a la noci車n de 'medio' (del rol de los medios de comunicaci車n en el siglo XXI y de la memoria como medio) y a la de montaje
