%X In this article is approached one apart from the text Euclides Vindicatus by Gerolamo Saccheri. In essence, is described the method that he used to refuse the hypothesis of obtuse angle in his book of 1733. Also is presented a historical introduction of the problem of parallels, which motivated the publication of the referenced text.
