%X Songs are an effective diffusion media of different topics. In this sense, musical groups are the main characters and massages¡¯ spreading, which may give us some ideas of the society, in which they are part of. Inti-Illimani is one of the cases in their first stage; they as spokepeople expressed the complex Chilean and American reality of the late ¡¯60s and early ¡¯70s of the XX century. Their musical project was more than just sound and for that reason it is worthy to be a subject of study.
