RDF deficits in defining classes and their respective properties. While, RDF Schema (RDFS) is the mechanism of defining application-specific classes and their properties. Still, RDFS is just providing a framework to describe the classes and their properties. RDFS allows relating the classes as superclasssubclass. RDFS which incorporates class hierarchy can help in enriching the RDF.
