One way of developing a natural interest in computing is to organize group-based competitions. This paper describes the design and implementation of an online system for a ¡°Millionaire¡±-type competition that was adopted for a computer literacy course. The students competed with each other in groups to win the game. Each group was required to discuss the answers, contributing to better learning. The project provided students with an environment of mutual respect and open communication. Students consequently evaluated the competition regarding enhancement of knowledge and learning through team efforts, providing positive feedback. %K Active Learning %K Online Education %K E-learning %U http://academic-journals.org/ojs2/index.php/IJCSE/article/view/914
