%X En el siguiente art赤culo se intenta explicar la influencia en el proceso de traducci車n que ejercen las diferentes estructuras textuales del japon谷s y el espa ol, mediante la comparaci車n y an芍lisis de textos en t谷rminos de coherencia, cohesi車n y estructura tem芍tica. Dicho ejercicio servir芍 para identificar y ejemplificar distintas tendencias entre ambas lenguas, lo que esperamos contribuir芍 a mejorar la calidad de las traducciones. (The following article deals with the differences between Japanese and Spanish text structure and the influence they have on the translation process. Samples of texts are compared and analyzed in terms of coherence, cohesion and thematic structure. This exercise will prove useful to identify and to exemplify the different trends between both languages and, we hope, it will contribute to improve the quality of translations.)
