%X En el siguiente trabajo presentamos el contenido de cartas in¨¦ditas escritas por An¨ªbal Echeverr¨ªa y Reyes a Rodolfo Lenz durante el proceso de elaboraci¨®n de "Voces usadas en Chile", obra ling¨¹¨ªstica de tipo normativo publicada en 1900. Estas cartas sugieren que, aunque la influencia de Lenz como modelo cient¨ªfico de Echeverr¨ªa es indudable, su participaci¨®n efectiva en "Voces usadas en Chile", especialmente en su secci¨®n lexicol¨®gica, no fue tan importante. Lenz colabor¨® con Echeverr¨ªa principalmente dando indicaciones generales y revis¨® (junto con otras personas) los apartados fon¨¦tico y gramatical durante los ¨²ltimos a os de preparaci¨®n del manuscrito. (The following work shows the content of non published letters written by An¨ªbal Echeverr¨ªa y Reyes to Rodolfo Lenz during the making of "Voces usadas en Chile", a normative linguistic work published in 1900. These letters suggest that, although the influence of Lenz as scientific model for Echeverr¨ªa is out of question, his direct involvement in "Voces usadas en Chile" was not so important. Lenz took part on the making of this work mainly by giving general observations and revising (in collaboration with other persons) the phonetic and grammatical chapters, during the last years of revision of the manuscript.)
