%X As imagens espacializadas das videoinstala  es de Andr¨¦ Parente apontam para o problema da vis o e estabelecem analogias com os discursos e pr¨¢ticas do in¨ªcio do s¨¦culo XIX, interessados na vis o subjetiva e na percep  o n o ver¨ªdica do mundo. A percep  o n o ver¨ªdica nas instala  es de Andr¨¦ Parente, entretanto, n o exclui o corpo e nem mesmo a refer¨ºncia do presente atual. Tampouco afirma a mentira, o sonho ou a fic  o como a dimens o subjetiva para a express o na arte. Parente opta pela dimens o temporal da imagem como a fonte e o modelo para a subjetividade e a vis o na atualidade. The spatialized images created by Andr¨¦ Parente in his video-installations suggest the problem of vision and establish analogies to the theme as it appeared in discourses and practices from the beginning of the XIX century, with their interest in subjective vision and non-veridical perception of the world. The non- veridical perceptions in Andr¨¦ Parente's installations, however, exclude neither the body nor the reference to present time. Those don't affirm the lie, the dream or fiction as the subjective dimension of expression in art. Parente chooses the temporal dimension of the image as source and model for today's subjectivity and vision.
