%X El problema de la unidad del Himno hom¨¦rico a Apolo tiene una larga tradici¨®n en la filolog¨ªa moderna, desde que en 1782 Ruhnken propuso que el texto que nos ha llegado proviene en realidad de la combinaci¨®n de dos himnos distintos. Me propongo, primero, sistematizar brevemente el conjunto de argumentos actuales y tradicionales a favor y en contra de esta idea, con sus correspondientes contraargumentos, y luego vincular este debate a una aproximaci¨®n m¨¢s amplia a la himnodia antigua que, quiz¨¢s sin agregar nuevas pruebas para defender la tesis de Ruhnken, ofrecer¨¢ una nueva perspectiva sobre ella, que, espero, contribuya al problema. The problem of the unity of the Homeric hymn to Apollo has a long tradition in modern philology, since in 1782 Ruhnken posited that the text that we have is actually constituted of two distinct hymns. I intend, firstly, to systematize briefly the different arguments, both the current and the traditional ones, in favor and against this idea, with their correspondent counter-arguments, and then to link this debate to a wider approximation to ancient hymnody that, perhaps without adding new proofs for Ruhnken's tesis, might provide a new perspective for it, which, I hope, contributes to the problem.
