%X This article intends to describing and analyzing the routine care provided to the individual suffering from depression. This is a cartographic research work, carried out with workers from CAPS (Center of Psychosocial Attention) at S o Jos¨¦ dos Campos. It attempted to map the routine care provided to an individual suffering from depression, including his/her case study, document analysis, observant participation and interviews with the users, the mental health care team and all the other individuals who took an active role in his/her care. For data collection, the analytic flowchart of the attention model of a health service was used. The routine care provided by the mental health team from this CAPS was guided by the user¡¯s needs and singularities. The customized therapeutic project was gradually built, adapting itself to the individual¡¯s life history, his/her family context, his/her fortes, his/her difficulties and limitations.
