A mathematical model of heat supply network structure that takes into accountnetwork construction costs and profit obtained from heat consumers has been considered. Adirect solution of the heating network optimization problem based on profit is complicated by thecombinatorial nature of this problem. That is why development of the methods which allow tosolve this optimization problem in acceptable computation time is an actual problem.Results. A mathematical model of heat supply network structure that takes into account constructioncosts and planned profit has been considered. Objective functions that allow to perform optimizationof heat network structure based on discounted profit from heat consumers, on total profitand on return of invested capital have been proposed. A formulation of a heat supply networkgraph optimization problem as a linear programming problem has been proposed. An analysis ofobtained linear programming problem and its limitation have been performed.Conclusions. A proposed mathematical model of heat supply network structure and formulatedoptimization problem allow to perform the design of high profit heat supply networks and to conductthe analysis of existing networks. %K heat network structure optimization %K heat network graph %K construction cost %U http://vestnikvgasu.wmsite.ru/ftpgetfile.php?id=301
