The structures of all the synthesized compounds have been determined by their spectral and micro analytical data. All the compounds have been evaluated for their antibacterial activity against Gram Positive bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Gram Negative bacteria like Escherichia coli, Salmonella peratyphi B and they were also evaluated for antifungal activity against Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger at different concentrations. Most of the synthesized compounds exhibited significant anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities. %K Sulphonamide %K Thieno [2 %K 3-c] pyridine %K Schiff base %K benzylidene amino %K antibacterial activity %U http://trisanita.org/jates/atespaper2012/ates15v2n2y2012.pdf
