%X Enclosure systems have definite forms with a visual value that is achieved due to constructive logic invested in them: both formal and material. These two dimensions are the lens through which this paper endeavours to interpret the visual culture represented in the enclosure systems in modern architecture in Bogot¨¢. By means of a case study, several representative buildings have been chosen that have in common the location and era in which they were constructed: they are all located in central Bogot¨¢ and were built between the 1950¡¯s and 70¡¯s.
