%X Main aim of the author is to determine how society has been changed by robotics and robots itself. A large number of factors will be investigated here, and, the most relevant ones are as follows:- The uneasiness that artificial intelligence life forms instill on humans. Android and humanoid robots are the ultimate robot machines.- The approach of Asimov in restricting robot behavior by law- The ¡°uncanny valley¡± model- The technological singularity that might take over human intellect- The spread and use of robots in current society in industry, its effect on employment.Current approach and views toward robots and automation will provide the basis for future development of industrial robots and linked sectors such as military robots like UAV¡¯s, service robots, humanoids and androids, among others.
