%X A partir de las elaboraciones de Freud, de Lacan y de Melman, los autores intentar¨¢n resolver las siguientes preguntas:  el alcoholismo es un s¨ªntoma en s¨ª o un coadyuvante de la neurosis obsesiva?  Es una enfermedad o un medicamento? Responder¨¢n parcialmente estas preguntas, a partir de ciertos rasgos que extrajeron de la cl¨ªnica del alcoholismo en pacientes hospitalizados para desintoxicaci¨®n. Despu¨¦s de establecer los v¨ªnculos entre s¨ªntoma y represi¨®n, se ocupar¨¢n de definir en qu¨¦ aspecto la cometida de alcoholizaci¨®n masiva y repetida puede constituir un dispositivo que dependa de la neurosis obsesiva. Un sympt me qui occulte un autre ? ¨¢ partir des ¨¦laborations de Freud, de Lacan et de Melman, les auteurs vont tenter de d¨¦gager la question suivante : l¡¯alcoolisme est-il un sympt me ¨¤ part enti¨¨re ou un adjuvant de la n¨¦vrose obsessionnelle? L¡¯alcoolisme, est-ce une maladie ou un m¨¦dicament? Ils vont r¨¦pondre partiellement ¨¤ ces questions ¨¤ partir de certains traits qu¡¯ils ont relev¨¦s dans la clinique de l¡¯alcoolisme, aupr¨¨s de patients hospitalis¨¦s pour un sevrage. Apr¨¨s avoir ¨¦tabli les liens entre sympt me et refoulement, ils s¡¯attacheront ¨¤ d¨¦finir en quoi la d¨¦marche d¡¯alcoolisation massive et r¨¦p¨¦t¨¦e peut constituer un dispositif qui rel¨¨verait de la n¨¦vrose obsessionnelle. One symptom that hides another? Beginning with the developments of Freud, Lacan, and Melman, the authors of this article will attempt to answer the following questions: Is alcoholism a symptom in and of itself or a component of obsessive neurosis? Is it an illness or a medication? The authors will partially answer these questions using certain characteristics they drew from the treatment of alcoholism in patients hospitalized to detoxify themselves. After establishing the connections between symptoms and repression, they will go about defining how massive and repetitive alcoholization can represent a device that depends on obsessive neurosis.
