%X The subject of this essay is the so-called ¡®net generation¡¯, the ¡®generation @¡¯, or the ¡®millennials¡¯ and the speculations about the importance of this generation for teaching. This essay represents both a critical analysis of such allegations and assumptions and a discourse, from the perspective of socialization, on the use of media in teaching.
