Necessary and sufficient conditions were provided by C. Chen.However, finding the feedback linearizing coordinates is subject to solving asystem of partial differential equations. We will provide in this paper a completesolution to the problem by defining an algorithm that allows to compute explicitlythe linearizing state coordinates and feedback for index one nonlinear differentialalgebraic control systems.
