%X We report a case of severe proximal muscle weakness caused by vitamin D deficiency. Hypovitaminosis D myopathy (HDM) is often misdiagnosed, as the symptoms are non-specific. However, the disease is easily treatable and complete recovery is possible if diagnosed on time.
