%X The found-footage documentary film Su¨¢stica, by Philippe Mora, whichcontains Hitler¡¯s home movies, caused public wrath at Cannes in the year of its debut, in1973. Decades later, in 2010, the film was shown to a large audience, which demonstratedfeelling comfortable about it. The features of the film and its social contexts are the subjectof this article in order to find the causes of this phenomenon.
