Besides this fact, in the aftermath of emergence of environmental protection necessities, developed countries have tended to carry their pollution creating industries to the developing world by means of foreign trade and investment. As a result of this, rapidly industrializing developing counties have had a more substantial share in the creation of pollution. This work analyzes both the Pollution Haven Hypothesis and Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) thesis at the same time. The study indicates that according to the EKC, there exists an inverse U relationship between CO2 emissions and per capita income in the developed countries while the pattern of the relationship takes a U shape for the developing countries. In the meantime the study also finds out that as the sectors causing more pollution have an increasing share in exports in developing countries, the CO2 emissions do increase too. %K Kirlilik S na Hipotezi %K evresel Kuznets E risi %K Kirli End¨¹striler %K Pollution Haven Hypothesis %K Environmental Kuznets Curve %K Dirty Industries %U http://journal.dogus.edu.tr/index.php/duj/article/view/321
