%X In this work we will approach the beginning of the intellectual career of Fernando Savater, a still unknown stage by many of the followers of his work, and is characterized by an anarchist posture and a libertarian conception of man and society. This stage begins around 1976 and extends roughly until 1981, year that Spain suffers the attempted of a revolt (coup d'¨¦tat), led by General Tejero. Influenced by this historical circumstance, Savater leaves the anarchism-nihilism, adopted in his youth, and he prefers to take a position of trust in the political transformation of Spain. This approach to the early years of Savater will provide some important clues to understand more clearly the evolution of his work and the independence of his political thought, a point of view that has always been in his work. En este trabajo nos acercaremos a los inicios de la trayectoria intelectual de Fernando Savater, una etapa desconocida por muchos de sus seguidores, caracterizada por una postura anarquista y una concepci¨®n libertaria del hombre y la sociedad. Esta etapa se inicia hacia el a o 1976 y se extiende, aproximadamente, hasta 1981, a o en que, en Espa a, se produce el intento de golpe de Estado protagonizado por el general Tejero. Bajo la influencia de esta circunstancia hist¨®rica Savater abandona el anarco-nihilismo y desencanto pol¨ªtico de su juventud y adopta una postura de confianza en la transformaci¨®n pol¨ªtica de Espa a. Este acercamiento a los primeros a os del joven Savater nos proporcionar¨¢ algunas claves importantes para entender con m¨¢s claridad la evoluci¨®n de su obra y el car¨¢cter independiente de su pensamiento pol¨ªtico que, desde siempre, le ha caracterizado.
