%X Elementary school libraries provide an environment that facilitatesreading and learning for students and teachers. For library managers,it is important to study library space usages from users¡¯ perspectivesin order to understand their behaviors and experiences. Adopting thepost occupancy evaluation approach, this study analyzed the activities,perceptions, and feelings of the users of a selected elementary schoollibrary and identified the library¡¯s roles and functions within that school.Observation, interview, and user illustration of the library¡¯s interiorwere used for the data collection. Findings of this study provide insightsinto the space planning and utilization of elementary school libraries.
