Thus, it is true that human life has also kinds of relationships in social space as well as religious, politic and legal spaces. With regard to this, there are prophet Mohammed¡¯s expressions and practices on how to do greetings, which are used as a communication means with non-muslims when non-muslims and Muslims live together in a society. Islam, also as a neccessity of neighbourhood, a non-muslim neighbour should be treated as if they were Muslims. It stated in Quran that the the dishes of ahli kitab are halal for Muslims. And, it is known that prophet Mohammed ate the dishes of ahli kitab and He did not prevent people from eating the dishes of ahli kitab. There is a consensus on that the dishes not belonging to ahli kitab can not be eaten. The allowance of Islam to marriage with the ahli kitab women is essential in terms of the importance it gives to social relationships with them. Besides Islam advises treating the parents well. Quran advises the obedience to parents except for the claim that God is not unique even if they are non-muslims. Additionally, there are both prophet Mohammed¡¯s practices on that, in case of need, non- muslims who are in need should be treated well and helped.
