One of the great challenges in this area is teaching by several instructors for one group of students (unfixed teacher) or one teacher for one group of students in all clinical wards (fixed teacher). This study was designed and conducted to compare the achievement of educational goals of clinical training in fixed and unfixed teacher method.Material and Methods:This is a quasi-experimental study on 88 nursing students enrolled in the clinical training of the first medical surgical course. They were selected from 2 consecutive academic years selected by census method. They were thought through two blind methods. One group was educated by fixed teacher method (43 students) and other group by unfixed teacher method (45). The teachers and clinical wards for the two groups were fixed in the two methods. At the end of the semester, data were collected through a checklist ¡®self report¡¯ and analyzed by mean, standard error deviation and in depended t-test.Results: The mean score of the students' self report in the fixed teacher group was 1.67 ¡À 0.55 and in the unfixed teacher group it was 1.98 ¡À 0.61. There were no significant differences between the means of the fixed and unfixed teacher group, based on the results of the student t-test (p<0.05, F: 1.32 (.Conclusion:Using unfixed teacher method in the education of nursing students is suggested. %K Education %K Goals %K Training Program %K Nursing %U http://jums.hbi.ir/library/upload/article/af_93323225952933394722365324355524927392344.pdf
