%0 Journal Article %T Conceptual Framework for K12 Teachers' Personal Knowledge Management in Digital Era %A Mei-Mei Wu %A Hung-Ren Wang %J Journal of Library and Information Science Research %D 2007 %I Library Association of the Republic of China (Taiwan) %X This paper depicts the essential natural of Teacher's Personal Knowledge Management (TPKM) in the e-Learning environment. A conceptual framework for TPKM is proposed based on the in-depth interviews of some information-rich K12 teachers. Qualitative approach is applied to collect and analyze data. Four Key dimensions for personal knowledge management, namely, value, processes, skills as well as tools are considered paramount issues for TPKM. In addition, four major information behaviors, access, evaluate, organize and create, are identified from teacher's teaching related activities.
