The predictive capacity of these variables was analysed in a mixed sample of 294 people. The outcomes show that the variables evaluated are significantly associated with the conflict-solving strategies used by the couple. These strategies have a positive association with jealousy and the propensity for abusiveness, and a negative association with emotional intelligence. Similarly, all the variables analysed had a predictive capacity regarding the conflict-solving strategies, especially the couple¡¯s perception regarding such strategies. These outcomes show the relevance of these variables in predicting violence between couples and are suggestive of interventions for its prevention. %K Violence between couples %K Conflict-solving strategies %K Emotional intelligence %K Jealousy %K Propensity for abusiveness %U http://www.escritosdepsicologia.es/descargas/revistas/vol4num1/vol4num1_5.pdf
