As all of the commemorative celebrations of a peripheral country, the centennial became one more show of the material and intellectual demonstration in order to bring Argentina to the more developed countries of the western world. The centennial was visible in the graphic industry by printing a series of Albums, huge catalogue- books, generally with leather covers that summarized the propaganda effort of wealth of the country. In these albums, photography played a central role for the exhibitionists purposes and formers of Argentina and nationalism. In this sense, we will get to analyze the discourse, that was constructed through the images of the city or province of C¨®rdoba, that although they were used as mere illustrations, they were building another speech, in this case from publishers, photographers; finally, foreign professionals of the area in question. Our cut will allow us to know the condition of production and circulation they had at that time, wondering if the publishing of the albums demanded a specific photographic survey; if each work required a particular job and therefore. %K ARGENTINA - HIST¨®RIA %U http://revistaseletronicas.pucrs.br/ojs/index.php/iberoamericana/article/view/7852/5567
