%X A patient aged 65, with a history of hypertension and ischemic heart disease, who attended the consultation in the Department of Neuro-Ophthalmology with a non painful protrusion of left eyeball presenting about 1 year of evolution and certain decrease in the eye＊s visual acuity. Fundus of the eye＊s examination showed a slightly elevated inferior nasal sector of the disk in the left orbit. We performed computed tomography and magnetic resonance of the orbits. In both tests, an injury was detected in the upper middle portion of the left orbit compressing the superior rectus muscle. Orbital surgery was performed to remove the tumor. Histological diagnosis was concluded as an orbital cavernous hemangioma. Paciente de 65 a os, con antecedentes de hipertensi車n arterial y cardiopat赤a isqu谷mica, que asisti車 a consulta en el departamento de Neurooftalmolog赤a, con protrusi車n del globo ocular izquierdo de aproximadamente 1 a o de evoluci車n, no dolorosa, adem芍s cierta disminuci車n de la agudeza visual en dicho ojo. El fondo de ojo arroj車 una discreta elevaci車n del sector nasal inferior del disco en OI. Se realiz車 tomograf赤a axial computarizada de 車rbita y resonancia magn谷tica nuclear de 車rbitas. En ambas se apreci車 lesi車n en porci車n media superior de 車rbita izquierda, que comprim赤a el m迆sculo recto superior. Se realiz車 cirug赤a orbitaria para extraer la lesi車n y se concluy車 el diagn車stico histol車gico como un hemangioma cavernoso orbitario.
