%X Characteristics for the generation of the second harmonic in homogeneous, collisional and magnetized plasma are investigated theoretically by solving the system of nonlinear equations for the fundamental and second harmonic extraordinary waves. The dependence of the efficiency of the wave frequency doubling on the distance from the plasma boundary and on the collisional frequency has been calculated.
